The Labour Law Payment of Bonus Act1965 is the law made to give bonus to persons working in certain establishments, having 20 or more persons. The bonus is given on the basis of profits as well as production or productivity. The minimum bonus of 8.33% is allocated by each industry as well as establishment. All this is done under the section 10 of the Act. The maximum bonus offered under the Labour Law Payment of Bonus Act1965 cannot exceed 20% of the salary/wage.
